“When we met Oscar two years ago, it was love at first sight for Molly and like at first sight for me. For Oscar… it was debatable. Things changed on his first road trip. He LOVES riding in the car and warmed up to us. Next, he discovered our laps and isn’t satisfied unless he is draped in one of them now. He is our little shadow and, unless sleeping in our bed, he is beneath our feet. Oscar has become family.”

“Ringo was adopted in 2011. He was nervous at first, but quickly became comfortable with his new loving family. He is now a senior dog, but that doesn’t slow him down – he still flops down and rolls in any patch of grass he can find. Sister Roxy was adopted a year later, and still maintains her boundless energy. An eternal puppy, she is a dedicated lizard chaser and the house clown. We love them both so much.”

“Pets for Patriots makes the adoption process a little easier and has great benefits to help with caring for your companion. Molly was deaf and had a hard life. She had ten different homes in her seven years of life. With me she has found someone that gives unconditional love and someone that accepts her as she is. She has given me the same in return.”

“I started my lifelong relationship with Underdog Rescue in August 2015 when I became an Underdog foster and I’m now a proud adopter. They are the best group of people. They truly put their heart and soul into this rescue, all while working full-time day jobs. They have more compassion for dogs they’ve never even met than many people have for their own dogs. They have taught me so much.”

“A dog was found who was clearly a hospice situation. I saw his picture and knew he needed help ASAP, so my husband and I agreed to foster. We had him for three weeks before he passed but made his time the very best we could. His name was Wilbur. Soon after, Underdog contacted us about fostering one of their long timers named Alfie, who we have now….as a foster fail!”
– Corena, foster failure 😀
“Trixie (aka Mia) was rescued as abandoned, I fostered her as long as I could, she was an escape artist. My 10ft wall couldn’t keep her. Underdog rehomed her four times! She kept getting returned. Underdog homed her finally, in Colorado on an 80-acre ranch. They drove and met her forever family half way in New Mexico. It’s a testament to how Underdog doesn’t give up! Ever!”

“I reached out to Underdog five years ago after taking in two stray puppies in my neighborhood. They were great. They helped me find excellent homes for both puppies. Recently, they did a courtesy post for a Husky I took in from a friend of a friend that had to give her up because of moving. The courtesy post is how I found an awesome adopter. Thank you, Underdog!”

“Underdog Rescue of Arizona was looking for someone to foster Greg, he was on the kill list and not doing well at the shelter, having lost a lot of weight and his spirit in his eyes.
I dropped everything and picked him up no clue what I was truly getting for a dog.
I’m in love with him and he is full of life and a happy guy waiting for that forever home.”
